Hi,

Can someone please inform of the exact material used to hold the red Supercharger mania sign above the ramp entrance.

Two screws of course, but how long and which ones ? Are they secured with locknuts on the backside ? I think I saw washers as well being there on a game in the past.

Mine is shot off to h*ll but I got a new one and plan to rebuild it soonest.

Thanks

Help !

Has anyone completely taken the supercharger ramp with magnets and all that comes with it apart ? I am Learning the hard way not having taken enough Pictures when trying to put things back together.. All is taken apart and cleaned thoroughly. Now I look like a big question mark. Naive as I was I would think the manual would show all in detail and ordered it, but not I´m afraid.

Would be very happy if anyone could p.m me . Perhaps someone shot sequence Pictures of the disassemlby with which belonging screws to go where etc.etcc

Thanks in Advance

Does anyone have a spare left slingshot plastic to sell me ? Noticed today when taking my game apart that a big part of he top (!! rare ?) corner is shot off and is missing.

Thanks in advance.

Quoted from GGBGROUP:

Recently I've experienced the game (playfield) suddenly shutting down and starting back up. DMD doesn't go out, but sort of freezes for a 3-4 seconds, then it all goes back to start as if someone shut the power button to the playfield only. Anyone seen this before?

Sounds like the CPU watchdog is barking... Probably needs to have the bridge rectifiers and/or capacitors on the driver board checked.

Thank you for your time.

I think it´s a good idea, but it needs to come alive... I would airbrush it and drybrush the letters in whatever colour would suit the owner.. Then I´d put down a wash to bring out the letters even more which also "3d's" the sign.. Finally a good coat of clear.

To see what I mean pls see the below thread... I did the paintwork for the the two Alien heads for SEGA´s Independence Day.

Quoted from Slim64:

I'll take a set as well.
I had planned to eventually paint the insides, but I like your mod. Way less work and mess!!

I airbrushed the insides of mine with black. Took less than 7 minutes. Piece of cake and makes a helluva lot of difference....

No way I would spend $ on a mod like that. Hell you could just size thin cardboard paper, paint with black marker and cut out and insert.

Has anyone of you equipped your Getaway with the fluorescent plastc set that is available....? If yes, do you like the addon effect, does it up the coolness further ? If anyone could give an opinion as well as show off some photos It will much appreciated. I might buy a set.
