That one is unique.
Spilling the beans spoils the puzzle for others, please don’t do it. Others have enjoyed this in spurts, and giving the solution effectively ends it.
And DanQverymuch for the bump to get it going again!

I don’t think it does. This is all pretty stupid.

Then why are you here??? I’m sure there are plenty of other threads that will meet your standards of not being “stupid” that you can post in.
Welp, it seems this has about played out. Maybe I can safely leave a clue that will reinvigorate interest without giving it away:
Think outside the box. Don't try to read between the lines, but rotate that idea by 90 degrees.
Now that I see it typed out, I'm not sure it makes sense. But it's all I got.
I’d leave it to the person that put it together to begin with. It’s up to the OP how much he wants to give away or if he wants to tell everyone what it says.
It's simpler
than you
think it
is.
It's easy... not hard but as I stated it is fairly easy, not fairly hard but fairly... easy.
Don't worry, as that's just too much, worry
be happy - even if you don't get it, it's just better being - happy.
The
End

It's been almost three months...

Agreed...100% up to the OP...it’s his puzzle.

you have or might have and it's always better to have than to not have
Quoted from wrb1977:Clues or any other help solving this should only be given by the OP.
Too many clues are already there so it's too late.

No need for any more then unless the OP chooses to do so. It’s just not anyone’s place except his.
I didn’t know there was so much activity here. Thanks to all for not giving it away. If you’ve gotten the message, great! But I’d like others to still be able to have the challenge. As the OP, I’d like to control the timing of the solution reveal, as much as I chose to construct this and put it out there. I know this kind of thing isn’t for everyone. If it’s not your cup of tea, it’s not, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
One.
Took me a very long time to get this. I had deduced the first part about a month ago, but just now figured out the 2nd part.

You are correct, congrats!

You got it, and I believe the official ruling is 4 in this case. Good job!
Quoted from DCP:Zero...
You did the first part of what the message says to do, but not the second part.

Ok, here goes again...zero....

Correct on the first part, but not quite on the second part of the message.

Adjusted
Here is the solution to this message puzzle. I wanted to wait until I launched a second puzzle before this reveal.
“Making Ends Meet” in this case meant to make the ends of each sentence (i.e., the first and last words) come together, eliminating all that was between them.
The original message:
Post mortems are interesting for those conducting them only.
The actual value of them is measured by interest, not by number.
Of course, they are made up of more than mere consonants and vowels.
In most cases they correctly don’t end a sentence with a word like “your.”
Pinside members know those who conduct them by name.
Then we all realize they don’t know what’s up.
Vote away, the results go for or against whomever.
Last of all, give it all you’ve got.
It will in the end be seen who is wrong and right.
The solution:
“Post only the number of vowels in your Pinside name. Then up vote whomever last got it right.”
Thanks to all who participated in this. I am concurrently starting a new hidden message puzzle thread, so now there will be another one for those who want to try it.

If you really wanted to torture us, you should have posted the 'clue' in a paragraph and not line by line .
