    Quoted from erak:

None, because a t-shirt has no sleeves.

One of the New York State tests actually had a reading portion and it was this stupid ass rewrite of the tortoise and the hair but it was a pineapple.

The moral of the story? Pineapples Don’t Have Sleeves.

That was genuinely on the test and so many parents had a conniption fit over it. It was on the news lmao

I am severely under-medicated for this thread.

    You got it! Good job!

    #113 4 years ago

You got it, but prior discussion here would lean toward four. Good job!

    #115 4 years ago

    one

    #116 4 years ago

You got it, thanks for hanging in there!

    #117 4 years ago

Not to give this away but y would be an issue - i.e. is it or is it not?

    #120 4 years ago

I’m not sure if an official ruling has been reached, but there’s been discussion in a number of posts from #23 to #55. I’ve just been accepting either way rather than making an issue of it.

    You got it! Congratulations!

    #124 4 years ago

Exactly! One of the rare few. Congrats!

    #126 4 years ago

    Four

    #127 4 years ago

Yes, Y counts, but not in Yes.

Be very careful, it counts in Very.

    #130 4 years ago

    2 here

    #135 4 years ago

    Lulz, funny little riddle.

    2.

    #136 4 years ago

    thirteen

    #139 4 years ago

I hope that in reading, one would think
this concept is a true execution and a riddle
is always in need of being, if not exemplary, at least awesome.

Well, now that I have said my part, the damage is done.

    #140 4 years ago

People are people accent on the "are"
Not just a passing thought about looking that old friend up
Voting for contact now over maybe next year is the choice done correctly

    #141 4 years ago

Thumbs up if you didn't solve this by the riddle but instead studied all the correct answers .

    #142 4 years ago

    Three.

Yes, the second part is just as important as the first in demonstrating that you are a real sleuth, not a pretender.

Reminds me of the guy sitting behind me in Algebra class who just plugged in numbers until it worked so he could answer x=5 or whatever. He got the answer, but he sure didn’t learn Algebra that way!

I will say there was a hint on page 2 that helped.

    #148 4 years ago

I thought the biggest hint was the OP's own answer.

I’m trying not to give too much away, but at least I don’t think anything in the conversation has given away the second part.

    #150 4 years ago

When I posted mine, I thought the second part had been done/validated by the OP ahead of me (based on timing) so I got a little confused.
