Quoted from Indypin:Just a simple one. Whenever you collect a weapon, be sure to listen to the special chime and voice telling you got it. Whenever I do hear it, I immediately press the start button to activate the weapon and get the reward. Still learning though, but the shots are still sweet!
you're doing it wrong
Each weapon has a different feature. I still have a lot to learn about them, but I love having the shotgun loaded and two hits left to go on the Xenomorph. That's a guaranteed ball saver right there. Drain, hit the launch button to fire the shotgun and start Ambush multiball!
If you've earned more than one weapon you can rotate through them with the "extra ball" (orange) button on the front next to and below the start button.
Quoted from swenny:Anyone else have a problem with the ball getting stuck here? It's happened several times because the screw they installed has a head that sticks up and creates a nice little cradle for the ball to rest in. Why they didn't use a wood screw with a flat head is beyond me.
Never. Swap it with a flat head.
Quoted from swenny:Here's what black legs look like on the machine if anyone's interested.
I also swapped out the key lock on the front of mine...did it with all my games and highly recommend it.
Quoted from delt31:I like that. Info on what I need?
Try this: http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=catalog&mode=search&search_in=all&search_str=keyless
Takes about 2 minutes to swap them.
Quoted from luvthatapex2:I just leave the key in my games.... same net result, nothing to swap.
Tried that....then the doors kept opening up when I played and it became super annoying. Plus, that's a great way to lose them...if kids ever visit.
Quoted from Indypin:Thanks Astro, appreciate the tip.
I'm kinda concerned about the facehugger tails breaking off (maybe). Any ideas or remedies to fix this, maybe some type of glue, finish or epoxy? Don't know, just guessing.
Your "fixes" might be good after they break. Not sure there is much we can do about it right now...maybe order spares.
Quoted from swenny:Visited with Cliffy today. He has Alien in the production que, but wanted me to relay to people to please have patience. He has had email problems lately and between those problems, the holidays and fine tuning the protector it may take slightly longer than usual to get these airlock orders filled. Please be patient. They're coming. Thanks
Well I already paid him so we'll see how long it takes. But that's okay, I'm pretty patient also.
Quoted from delt31:So my cliffy came in for the airlock. Anyone know how to install this?
Should be relatively straight forward? I'll let you know tomorrow when mine gets here.
Quoted from nwpinball:Magnetic nut driver = my mind blown. This is going to save me so much time and agony, how did I not realize these existed until now?
Quoted from VividPsychosis:Hey guys, if I wanted to switch out my SS legs for black ones, which brand legs would fit the best? Stern, b/w? Just don’t wanna order ones that won’t work well.
It looks to me that b/w legs would be the proper fit.
I've completed "find Jonesy" four times already...so it's fine the way it is. In fact I love it the way it is.
Quoted from hank527:No one should buy this game until they issue refunds to all of us who have paid. It's Jpop and Kevin 2.0
Yes they should refund money to everyone who has asked. No it is not JPOP and Kevin 2.0.
Quoted from Kneissl:Which beacons did you get?
Same ones that Highway includes with the LE's ($15 each on eBay).
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:So what's going on with this game lately, folks? Did any of them ship after the new owners took over? Is the game still kicking ass?
So I see you've at least read through the thread.
Quoted from bcd:FYI, in the 1.2 release, the beacon power was reduced, so they are a little dimmer, but MUCH quieter.
Which is perfect because I stuck LED's in mine.
Quoted from jonesjb:How did everyone get their Alien here? Was it on the secondary market? I had a preorder in and got nothing.
I got lucky...direct from Heighway (SE).
Quoted from Pale_Purple:The lucky ones that got an Alien, how are your games holding up?
So far so good. Great game.
