The Bally Hoo (or Ballyhoo, Bally Bally Hoo, Bally Ballyhoo) thread brings me to ask this question:

Anyone know exactly what years (or games) Bally actually screened German version of Playfield and Back Glass art for their export games?

I see on IPDB, the Ballyhoo in 69 was done in German. I own a Firecracker and 4 Million BC that are German. I know I have seen a German Capersville (1966).

Just curious.

Quoted from wiredoug:

65 discotek came a german PF
not mine but same -> ebay.com link

Anyone know what IPDB's policy is on taking photos off the internet (Like from Ebay auctions without watermarks)? The German version is not posted on IPDB.

Hmm, there's at least one more game - name escapes me now. I bet O-din would remember it though...

Nahhh. Bally wouldn't waste the extra silk screens on a game with a spinner!

Quoted from pinbobbo:

I picked up a german fireball back in 78 when the company I work for was unexporting containerloads for Christmas sales. 50 games in a container and those Germans did not know that you could actually clean and maintain games. Some of those games you could not even see the artwork on the playfield. Ahh, those were the good old days

Pacincho Palace or G.A.M.E.S ??? Perhaps?
