Hello,

I recently purchased a Genesis machine that has a translite that is just taped to the back glass, which I am not happy about. Does anyone know if the standard trim strips like Marcos sells for Bally/Williams machines will fit within the head of a Gottlieb machine? I hate to put out the money just to find out there was a reason they taped it on, other than laziness.

Second question, is it possible to replace the fluorescent bulb in the head with an LED strip or LED bulb without too much work or is it a lot of re-wiring/soldering?

Thanks

I believe they make direct replacement bulbs that are LED. No need to redo the wiring. From what I understand. As far as the backglass channel i would think it would work but 17 in isn't long enough.

Sorry was looking at the wrong on lol. That trim should work fine. Might have to persuade the translite into it, but should be good.
