Quoted from ChrisHibler:Switch matrix problems on System 80 boards are pretty common.
Use the "diode test" contained in the PinWiki to test Z10 thru Z13.

If you find a failed 7400 or 7404, replace those first. You may still have a failed 6532 at U4.
If you need help with the repair, drop me a line. I've fixed hundreds of 80-80B MPUs.

having a problem with my gold wings i think i shorted something on the mpu now display says tilt switch closed also tried unplugging everything except the power and display and alert remains so i guess its the board.. anyway i pulled it out and started checking the integrated circuits using your video i found here. i didnt find anything on the z10-13 or u4 like you you mentioned but if the test in the video works on these modules as well i was getting suspicious reading on u1 z1 z4 z36 namely 0s and .2s.. before i start trying to replace circuits i guess in wantkng to make sure that these circuits will test the same way as the 7400s cause they have a different part numer and based on which ones are showing up suspect could they be causing this tilt switch issue.. also would it be normal for so many of them to short at once?
im a novice at repairs so looking for some advice before i cause more harm then good
