What lubricant do you guys use for things like flippers, the plungers, etc? Any recommendations for one type over another?

Flippers was a misprint this AM (sorry, that's what happens when you type while eating at 5 AM). I meant the plunger specifically. When I took mine apart, it was lubed with something, I just don't know what. That is specifically what I wanted to know.

Wow, thanks for the overwhelming response. My Firepower does indeed have a nylon sleeve, so I assume just degrease the whole thing then? Anyone have a exploded view of a plunger assembly so I get all those washers back in the right spot? By the way, anyone know if firepower had a white or black rubber tip originally? Mine needs to be replaced.
