Wow, you all have some beautiful games and excellent restoration skills! I had a 1940 Band Wagon for a New York minute but my EM repair skills are not up to snuff, so I traded it for a (working!) Ice Revue.

My only recommendation, if you haven't already, is to speak with Tom Considine. I don't know that he's reproduced a Black Gold before, but I could be wrong. I'm not sure if he's on Pinside, but he's on Facebook. He's a gentleman, and certainly worth talking to!
