Quoted from Boise_D:Anyone know where I can get a shooter lane gate wire? Mine is missing and the ball sometimes drops back into the shooter lane.

I might favor that over it getting stuck half the time when it shoots hitting that wire and hitting that wire almost everytime I try to shoot up that lane to increase the jet point value. How often does it really end up back in the shooter lane?

Looks like Dr Dude Plastics are in and will be ready to purchase soon (according to the PPS forum)

For those trying to order, the weight was WAY off, so the shipping estimate was WAY high ... this has been fixed ...

lots more coming.

#56 7 years ago

Ordered! Thanks again for making the plastic set happen.

#57 7 years ago

Have been trying to find these for years - can't wait to swap out out all my broken plastics. Thanks for making them available.

#58 7 years ago

If anyone of you guys are buying the full plastic set and do not need the red Heart of Rock n Roll plastic, PM me and I'll buy it from you. Doesn't look like it's available individually.

#59 7 years ago

Are the "fuel lines" available anywhere for purchase?

This is the only forum I've ever used that doesn't allow you to delete posts, so we have blank posts instead.

Question Dr. Dude owners....would you mind posting a pic of your yellow Mixmaster glitter decal (ONLY if you have the originals and have not replaced them)? Trying to get these reproduced accurately and I'm told machines have different versions but all the ones I've seen are the same. So I want to see what's out there to determine if this is the case. Thanks.

#64 7 years ago

No - they were not produced correctly. So we're trying to get them redone properly.

#65 7 years ago

The ones linked above are not correct?
They are the newer ones just made. What's wrong with the newer version?

#66 7 years ago

These are not OEM accurate. I own every single version of these decals ever made - the OEM, the ones sold on eBay for a while, and the one PPS sells. The OEM ones have large glitter and shimmer from almost any angle. On most machines they are peeling off. The eBay ones use small glitter and barely shimmer no matter the angle. The PPS ones use the same small glitter as the eBay ones but have a lamination over them which creates a weird rainbow effect. PPS is aware of this. If you guys own DD and know for sure you still have the original OEM decals, a photo would be awesome just to ensure all the originals are in fact the same. Thanks!

#67 7 years ago

Here's mine. I believe they are original.

Thanks dozer1, those are definitely originals and match what we are expecting the OEM to look like. Bicyclenut....can you take a pic of just the Mixmaster? Specifically looking to match up the glittery decals. Thx!

Hope these help

Well at least I'm in the right place to beg for a Big Shot figure lol. I got one of these 3D printed ones from a dude in Germany, there pretty awesome you can stain the plastic with Copic alcohol based ink markers and they look good! If anybody has a broken one they would trade this indestructible 3D printed one for, hes just a tilt warning on spring steel for me!

No there fixed, but he is drilled and tapped with fine thread screws on the back so he will bolt right on. I'm a reformed toy collector and somewhat of a purest so I'm after the real deal. The one advantage to this 3D printed figure is it's invulnerability. Here's a link to the listing the markers aren't cheep either at about $8 a piece, then it takes a steady hand because he's cast in white. But it is quite reflective material and gleams on the game!

Well I did say I was a reformed toy collector this is my excuse to still collect (don't tell the girlfriend). Besides when playing Party Zone you will see that when you hit the Cosmic Cottage at times you get "Da Big Bouncer" which I'm pretty sure is a the grown up gaped tooth version of old Big Shot...still waiting to hear back from Dennis on that one lol.

But if they're working on a more accurate version id rather wait for those. Just wondering how long it'll take cause PPS is anything but fast

Great news guys. I just received a sample of the latest Mixmaster Decals being worked on for PPS. These are substantially closer to the originals than any version that has ever been made. As is, you'd be VERY happy with the quality of these as they shimmer and shine almost identically to the ones that came with the machine originally. Hold tight....going to see if we can tweak these just a little more, but this is very good news for DD owners.

#82 7 years ago

mrgregb123 why did you down vote my post thats just rude DUDE!

#83 7 years ago

Hey guys I just got a free sample dildo...air mail! haha

Something to try dudes!

Go into your adjustments and change the mixmaster hits for jackpot from 10 to 2. This virtually eliminates the randomness of jackpot shots during multiball and makes the game a lot more fun. I'm purist that likes to play on defaults but after owning this game for 3 years, I have to say this adds a whole new life to it.

Looks great. I have the same apron cover you do. I did all LED's in mine as well. But only added a little color to mine. What happened to your Big Shot?

#87 7 years ago

Here are the confirmed high score initials easter eggs and what each one says -

CPG - HELLO CHRIS (Plays main theme)
PFZ - HELLO PFUTZ (Plays Heart theme)
JON - HELLO JON
T_P - HELLO TONY
DEN - HELLO DENNIS

The last 3 play the mixmaster theme, magnet theme, and gift theme - I forgot which ones are which. Enjoy

I just made a big score....I was at a friends shop today who used to operate pinball machines on his route. They used to have a Dr. Dude that I bought from them. So I'm digging around all these old parts, looking for a ramp for my Jokerz and what do I find? A brand new Big Shot. He told me I could have it. SCORE!!! This made my day. I felt like I was in a episode of American Pickers. Sorry no, I don't want to sell it.

Can anyone she'd light on the eXcellent Ray wireform variations? I have the wavy verison, but I don't see that often? Too much cost?

The Dr Dude I operated back in the mid-late 90's had a wavy ramp. My game was a sample though, because if I remember right, it had something special with the boards. (WPC boardset? Can't remember now..) I was never able to find out the difference - I heard that it was either a production change, or a change on machines that went overseas. Wasn't ever able to verify one way or another.

From what I've seen the exports had the red start button and straight ramp. US has the yellow start button and curvy ramp. Yours is actually the first I've ever seen to have the curvy ramp and red start button.
