    I think your #755's got in there when a service guy or previous owner ran out of #44 replacements. The bayonet base fits the same lamp sockets. I use all #47's exclusively for my EM's. I only use LEDs where appropriate -- some EM games just don't look right with them because the layout optics really weren't designed for LEDs, and you end up playing a trial-and-error balance game trying to get the brightness and warmth levels right. #47s are cooler and use less energy than #44's. For home use, they work just fine although they are a little less bright, but it's only noticeable if you mix them in the same machine. Here's a Marco Specialties chart below that provides ssome specs and values. There are notable differences between the #44 and #47. To your question: the #47's are also a better choice than the #755s because they have more lumens (6.3 vs 4) and less watts (0.945 vs 1.0). Good luck.
