We have officially partnered with several modders to provide some great additions for this great game.

The Moncla Mafia went crazy on this one. I installed it and it looks great.

How simple are the under-cab lighting mods to install?

Plug and play, Velcro adhesion. Instructions on the site.

Are these going to be upgraded versions (same art/look) of the factory stern playfield items?

The general takeaway we strive for is that the mod looks like it belongs in the game and is better than the original.

Explain #5......I was with you up to that point.

My guess is the cover for the black case that currently covers the arm of the bash toy, or at least I hope it is...

that's how I read it too.

#15 6 years ago

On most of those items it doesn't seem like you need to license anything unless you put a logo on there.

We will be making both types. We have a full time mod business and we pursue all aspects of how we can get mods to our customers. Our partnership with other modders is really cool for them and us.

Can you make the colored captive ball a 6 pack instead of the 4 pack so people can change the front captive ball to as its just a regular pinball.

It's a newton ball no? If it is, that means it's screwed onto the pf

Quoted from pinball_customs:

If it works like the one on Metallica it is just a normal pinball sandwiched between a plate and that metal loop.
I would be in for a set of 6 as well (4 green and 2 pink)

#25 6 years ago

On the ad I think it says library captive ball Area and newton book stacking shot not sure if this means anything.

#26 6 years ago

Someone needs to come up with a large illuminated slimer for an LE topper. That Ecto light bar isn't going to cut it on that mean green machine! Something like a "Killroy" pose where the head, hands and shoulders are coming up over the top.

Quoted from Mitch:

The front Newton ball has a post in it. You can only do 4.

#28 6 years ago

Think they are talking about book stacking newton as another 2 balls

#29 6 years ago

The front newton ball shouldn't have a post in it. They don't in metallica.

Why would stern change there design for ghostbusters?

#30 6 years ago

If you look close in this picture you can see the base screws into the playfeild not the ball.

I will take a closer look at it next week on the machine. I was in the middle of doing stuff on the game in Texas and Kristin wrecked it when she almost cut her finger off.

EL wire on Slimer boom. Working on various wrapping techniques and colors.

#35 6 years ago

That looks awesome will there be a option for pulsing lights and constant lights or a switch?

#36 6 years ago
Quoted from Flato:

Probably and I will make this interactive so it will strobe when the Slimer moves.

#37 6 years ago

Yep, that's a natural. Should be great!

Yup sounding like a sweet mod

#39 6 years ago

You may have tried it already and have a reason not to, but I'd try to bring the EL wire up closer to slimer. You also may want to consider using more than one color and intertwining rather than just circling one color around and around. These may all be things you already played around with, but just thoughts.

#40 6 years ago

Another, Kristin said I'm dumb for making her take the pictures.

#41 6 years ago

Mod question -- is it possible to buy a generic shaker motor and install it in a gb pro or would you need code tweaks or something else to get it to work?

#42 6 years ago

IM digin this mod but is it possible to get sometching on the black housing?

#43 6 years ago

Maybe twist several strands together and have two or three strands run length-wise (top and both sides)? Make it look like the actual streams (Don't cross!!!) Similar to the Whiplash whips?

Tim did you offer for her to hold it and you take pictures?

#46 6 years ago

I did, and she was flipping me off, so I had to take another one. I'm driving her crazy, I guess that's normal.

I like this concept a lot and there's plenty that can be done with the configuration of the "streams" but something needs to be done with that black plate, even if it's just a decal...

#49 6 years ago

Twisting the streams may allow you to have the various ends of the EL wire run over the black plate. You could split the ends of the streams to look like its grabbing Slimer. Fasten down on the arm and plate with clear zips?

#50 6 years ago

Twist the streams... but NEVER cross the streams
