A presidence for 'printing' the instructions on the plastics instead of a "sticker" would be the repro Orbitor 1 plastics we (CPR) did a few years back. I ran into the same situation with the Instructions Decal and decided it would be a 'cleaner' look to print them on the plastic instead of forcing the buyer to make a Decal and apply it themselves.....Shown below is the Orbitor 1 finished product.....Not trying to influence anyone, just putting it out there as a 'sample' as to what's already been done in a similar situation......

Possible compromise: Remove the "block" area in the Black and replace with the Joust Logo. This way it would Light Up and yet you wouldn't have that "block look" in the Black. This would be fairly easy to incorporate into Jims artwork as he has already done the Logo in a vector format....Just my 2ยข.....

Wide-body Drum Sander has NOT yet been purchased.....

#74 10 years ago

We don't have any other Artwork done for any other Wide-body games, nor do we have any other wide-body titles being drawn at this time, so it really dosen't make any sense to spend $20,000 on a 3-Drum Sander just to make 20 Joust Playfields. Once we have Artwork/Film for say: Space Invaders, Paragon, etc. then we can justify spending the money on new Drum Sander.....

Although, now you have me thinking that if we did buy the Drum Sander & then amortized the cost of the Sander + Shipping + Tax + Installation and Set-Up over 20 Joust Playfields we could probably do it, then again the PF's would retail at $ 2,500.00 each....Hmmm, something to think about > Whos in at $ 2,500/ea ?

We already have the Artwork done for the Playfield ( by CPR Artist Jim Smith, who also did the Plastics artwork ), we are simply waiting to produce it until we have a Widebody Drum Sander for the wood......
