When we owned a chalet there, we placed an air hockey table in it. The guests liked it but it got destroyed quickly. There's no way I'd put a pin in. A virtual pin - maybe - but definitely not a real one.

Multicades are quite common there as I'm sure you know. I'd have no hesitation with that.
Edit: I'd also think twice about anything that could possibly break if butt cheeks were resting on it, such as pinball glass. Just sayin'.
