I think the original thought was an experiment to see if they can measure the reduction in "fuel efficiency" between ethanol blended and straight gasoline in their lawnmower.

I am on the same page with what you wrote, I was just clarifying the original intent.

    Quoted from Atari_Daze:

Oh man, look what I found.
Not sure how my 93 octane performance tune is gonna like it but if I'm paying more than $4 per gallon, I'm going to try this stuff. Too bad I didn't need a full tank today.

How well does your tune do on mid-grade, because I would expect it to be similar based on the octane rating and you mentioning that it was a performance tune.

Are you saying that for your last tank you doubled your fuel efficiency (from the comment you ran out with 1 strip left) with the ethanol free gas?

    Quoted from Crash:

Meanwhile I cut my quite thick and mildly wet medium sized yard with a full tank of ethanol free, and my push mower still has at least 3/4 left. Very nice. I love these fuel efficient Honda engines.

Wait, you went from using more than a tank of gas in your mower at the start of this thread, to now having 3/4 left with your ethanol free stuff?
