Pinball to him is literally whatever you do 9 to 5 to pay the bills and put a roof over your head. It always has been. For 70+ years. It’s the exact same thing to him that being an accountant or working at a shoe store was to your dad. That’s it. That’s all it will ever be for him, so stop projecting your fantasies upon him.
