Quoted from VolunteerPin:I just had Gandalf arrive during the Two Towers multiball. I think that means I finished the mb, correct? A gift became lit too and I'm assuming it was from that.
If true, that is the first time I remember finishing that mode
Dang it if I didn't even start DTR during the game. LOL, its always something. 'Tis was a little victory and I loved it though.
Correct. It's when you've collected the first Super Jackpot during TTMB, located at the ring shot. When you shoot it, you get the unmistakable "SUUUUUUUUUPER JACKPOT" callout. Very satisfying.
Getting to it is the tough part -- it's a combination of TTMB jackpots made and switch hits. So in general, I like to shoot the ring or the L orbit for jackpot shots in TTMB because they both also collect a ton of switch hits. It's clear when the SJP is ready to shoot because all the other shot inserts go out except for the ring shot, and Gandalf says something like, "At light of dawn, on the third day..."
Here's a very comprehensive rule sheet on LOTR if you're interested: http://pinball.org/rules/lordoftherings.txt
(the info on TTMB switch hits isn't in there -- that info was from Keefer himself posted online)
