    Quoted from Boat:

FYI, saying gayseum or similar is homophobic and is unacceptable in these times. There is nothing negative about being gay.
Let's call this Lameseum (until we are proven otherwise) and move on.

    gay:
    lighthearted and carefree.
"Nan had a gay disposition and a very pretty face"
    synonyms: cheerful, cheery, merry, jolly, lighthearted, mirthful, jovial, glad, happy, bright, in good spirits, in high spirits, joyful, elated, exuberant, animated, lively, sprightly, vivacious, buoyant, bouncy, bubbly, perky, effervescent, playful, frolicsome;

    gayseum. “playful museum”

    why is everything so negative.

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

The games he buys or are given are often total garbage. The fact that he doesn't know how flippers works makes the fact that he thinks these games are ready for public use even more alarming.
He went after Lloyd from Coin Op Warehouse last year for "stealing" a ratty, mold covered Spinout from him on a Facebook sale, whining about how Lloyd is a jerk off for "flipping games" blah blah blah - you know, for doing what he's been doing for eons to feed himself and pay the bills. Hauling ratty old games out of basements for small profit margins might not be as glamorous as begging for money on the internet but it's honest and difficult work, not the kind of thing a lazy entitled wannabe should be bagging on.
Shouldn't surprise anybody who knows his body of work - Steve LOVES going after hard working, honest people who have been making their living AND contributing to the pinball hobby and community for decades before he ever slipped on his first pair of sweatpants. But his complete misunderstanding about how the world works never ceases to amaze me. Nobody owes you anything, not 5 changes to a shipping address for your order of $25 worth of parts, nor first dibs on a moldy, $150 Gottlieb Spinout that you want to charge the public to play.
You'd really think he'd be more friendly to the vets around here, people who could offer him help on why his flippers aren't working. Nothing Steve does really surprises me any more, but I have to say even I'm shocked that the proprietor of a "museum" for EM pinball machines is asking for advice on how to make his EM flippers work. If you can't handle that I don't see how you are going to be able to maintain any kind of of functioning inventory.
I say this with no joy because we need all the arcades we can get, but I'm giving the Gameseum 6 months.

dont cry for lloyd. he buys pins and games from widows for penny on the dollar and sells them for thousands. his family is doing very well i wouldnt worry much. he aint personally carrying moldy pins out of basements to make 10 bucks. most dumbest post you ever made.

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Yeah that sucks. Get well soon Steve!
(that being said I sense a gofundme in our very near future)
People can't fucking drive. How hard is it to not run someone over, especially when they have the light?! In a tiny ass town like Ephrata?!

i worked with vision zero in nyc. left turns are dangerous because of the l/s pillar on the car blocks pedestrians it a blind spot. cars of the future most likely will have see-thru pillars made out of some strong transparent composite. when making a left turn i always look around both sides of the pillar to make sure nobody standing in that blind spot.

i heard from a friend of a friend the fire dept had to use the jaws of life to cut his sweatpants off !

    #1456 4 years ago
    Quoted from emkay:

Nothing will come of it. The business owner across the street from him got hit the exact same way in the exact same intersection ten years or so ago, driver paid a small fine and went on with life. Ephrata is a weird little town. I once saw a car roll over onto its roof a couple blocks from there, no idea how they managed to do that.
Between the elderly and junkies nodding off, it's a dangerous place to be a pedestrian.
For what it's worth, I requested on behalf of Steven for the mods to close this topic almost two months ago with no response whatsoever. My apologies if the negativity continues but it's out of my hands; this is not why I started the thread.[quoted image]

what negativity? everyone wishes steve the best, nobody wishes him to get hit by a car. now mind you only one poster said steve was playing frogger and some nasty dude said they used the jaws of life to remove his sweatpants.
hope he gets well soon and if they want to close this thread maybe it is time.

    Quoted from emkay:

    Agreed.
Hey is that your NBA Fastbreak in the front of Rock Fantasy? If so, I played it yesterday. Sweet.
Also if your Six Million Dollar Man is the one at Quinnz Pinz, the front left leg leveler is jacked.
    peace

ill pass along to steve. missed ya pal. im me next time you are there!

    Quoted from Atari_Daze:

Steven reminds me a lot of a guy who currently resides in a big white house up in the NE region of the U.S.
Every time I read something new he (Steven) posted or commented to, I just think of whom his role model seems to be.

stupidest post on the stupidest thread!

    Quoted from vicjw66:

    Seems pretty accurate to me.
