    Quoted from Electrocute:

Seems somewhat claustrophobic to me.[quoted image]

Quick look on google maps - I think that is just the bump out space. Zillow has it as 2816sf. There is reference to it being twice as big earlier, but a sale in 2019 for $1,500 has me thinking it was divided.

I'll go with 2800sf as my guess, which should be a good size.

Guess it’s a “soft closing” which will be followed by the “Grand Opening” which be followed by the ................

I feel bad posting this, but I couldn't stop thinking of this:

We will visit but it's going to be another 3-4 weeks before we have a chance.

    Quoted from Colsond3:

I thought someone just said 7/20?

I mean before we have a chance to get out there - our schedule is the issue.

    Quoted from GWalton:

I literally live 10 minutes away and have no plans on going. My wife works at the Amvets club a few blocks away from him and I'd rather go there to play their Munsters and shoot some pool, while having actual food and drinks.
I'm seriously growing tired of every time a news article is posted about the place on Facebook, a couple people inevitably tag me in the post "Greg, did you see this?!" Why would I pay somebody to play dumpster games that are older than me when I have a thriving collection at home that puts his arcade to shame?
On that note . . . If anybody actually makes the trip there. Hit me up once you're bored within 30 minutes or so. I may be home and I'll gladly host some gameplay and beer drinkin.

I'd love to see some of your games...

Found ourselves with some time to kill in Westfield NJ yesterday. Saw games listed on Pinmap at "Yestercades". Looks like they have 3 locations in NJ. I know it isn't a unique idea -- a barcade without the bar-- but they pull it off well. 19 pins in various conditions, and then a ton of video games, places to play console games, etc. Exactly what he is looking to pull off. Place was packed. Of course all you need is a bucket of cash to make it happen...

    Quoted from emkay:

It's about 20-25 minutes north of Lancaster on rt 222.
There aren't many good places to play pinball directly in Lancaster but about 45 minutes east on rt 30 gets you to Pinball Gallery in Malvern, which is well worth the ride. $20 for a full day, $8 per hour. ~75 pins including all the new games (Jurassic Park, Wonka, Oktoberfest, etc) and a bunch of arcades too. They recently got a Cosmotrons, which I have yet to see anywhere else.
Also about 45 minutes east of Lancaster but on rt 23 is the Village Arcade in Saint Peter's Village. Only open noon-5pm Sat & Sun but they have ~30 EMs in nice shape, all set to two credits per quarter. Let me know if you're gonna be there, I live in town and will walk over - buy you a beer or whatever. 20 minutes further east on rt 23 is Railroad Bar & Grill/Pincrossing, which has amazing food and ~17 very nice modern pins.
PM me if I can help, I lived in downtown Lancaster for many years and know it like a cab driver.

We should do a meetup in Saint Peter's someday.

    Quoted from beelzeboob:

What offended me was the horrible artwork. Looks like it was done on a Commodore 64.

Hold up, don't besmirch the C64! It can do things like this:

What surprises me most is someone has yet to buy out the Google AdWords for Gameseum and point it here or somewhere else creative.

Ugh. Sorry to hear about that. Someone is going to have access to a machine shop and get you sorted out. Sadly I don’t have access to what I did in the past but my guess is someone here does.
