Quoted from pinlink:But...How will he run this place? I thought he was unable to work???
How did he acquire all those machines in a relatively short time, if he was asking for money for a sump pump and a doggie doctor?
He's going to be there seven days a week untill ten.
He's "extremely experienced".
Those games will be up and running by next weekend!
Quoted from bonzo71:"..............I am curious to know what you guys feel in that video is "junk."
A lot of us remember the condition of the games he brought to Pinfest.
Quoted from mbaumle:Just found the post about the flippers.
Yikes...
Did he forget that chapter in his book?
"The largest street fair in PA, 200,000+ people walking our streets each season, is a foot from our front door - WE'RE LOCATED IN, AND THE ONLY BUILDING *SURROUNDED BY* THE FAIR MIDWAY!"
I wonder if the organizers of Musikfest know this?
"Gameseum: Mega-Arcade & Museum - Play Pinball, Arcade, and Consoles is at Gameseum: Mega-Arcade & Museum - Play Pinball, Arcade, and Consoles.

Our COSTUME & COSPLAY PARTY is in THREE days - Saturday, October 26th, 2019 - and we're so excited we think we might spew. You're invited!"
Yuck.....
Quoted from turbo20lbs:The man is a God apparently.
He had hundreds of hours experience walking on water by the tender age of 17.

Many rave reviews pouring in again this week, the fall season is picking up after the back to school grind and it's a PERFECT time to visit Gameseum, any time! Thanks for coming and thank you for taking the time out of your days to share what an awesome experience you had at Gameseum!
(Steven even got called a legend! He's very humbled, haha!)

Fuel that already bloated ego!!!!!!
Not surprised at all.
I know times are tough, but I find it real hard to feel sorry for this guy.
Couldn't he auction off that super rare skylab, spacelab thing he has? That should set him up for a while.
E
Well......most of his games are super rare, A+++++++, Highly sought after examples.
He's sitting on a goldmine!
Quoted from Coindork:So what is the difference between Skylab and Spacelab?
Are they the same game with variants on the backglass?
Obviously you haven't read all of the Otaku chronicles.
Quoted from electricsquirrel:$1150 in his GoFundMe account.
He could almost buy that Skylab on EBay.
Not that he would ever do something like that.
Quoted from Otaku:No relief from feds, state, or landlord, but thankfully we have the sheer numbers/savings alone from the very prosperous year we had, to make it through the hard way. We also don't have payroll as we have no employees - just the owners, so that helped. It's still terrifying for everybody, but I'm not panicking yet. We make several thousand every weekend, so as soon as the first early signs of COVID appeared I started buttoning down the financial hatches expecting the worst (when most were still skeptical), and it ended up being a very beneficial gamble having the previous month's five digits being around to dedicate fully to lockdown time. We're better off than most and I feel very blessed for that. I've been buying games nonstop but pulled the plug on that as soon as I heard about China... real early... I think it was maybe 2-3 weeks before it hit here and it was barely in the news, let alone in a worldwide pandemic. Just a gut feeling, and it paid off more than I could ever imagine.
Unfortunately I just did a giant bulk buy the week before that or I would've been (overkill) good for a whole year with no money coming in if needed, I'm a big saver, but you never expect the world to collapse like it never has before. Crazy times we live in and how quickly things progressed. You always try to financially prepare for the worst, but nobody expects something second only to the apocalypse. I'm afraid a lot of places will go under... but we will be fine.
Todd really did say it best. A good friend of mine I visit weekly and a fellow business owner... we both miss our weekly Applebees trips dearly!

We sure aren't in the position to be doing favors for anybody and are on the ramen diet like everybody else, but we won't go under whatsoever. Just going nuts on restoring games with all the free time... will be a nice silver lining to it all, and a crazy return unveiling
Just a refresher.
Quoted from midniight:Steven , please come back . This thread is not as fun without you .
If he makes it through this, I guarantee that he will be back to gloat and brag about it.
I thought there were four GoFundMe's.
1. The sump pump incident.
2 . Gameseum start up.
3. The sick dog.
4 . Gameseum bail out.
Am I missing one ?
Quoted from Electrocute:I second that. Come back and set things straight.
Oh, trust me......he's here, reading every word.
I like this line: "... that's just me... I'm super neutral..."
are there degrees of neutral?
He seems to like the word "unhumanlike" too. Is that really a word?
Pure entertainment!
Quoted from brucipher:"…..:F'ing A, did he need to write a novel to his clientele about his decision regarding masks?"
"... that's just me... I'm super neutral..."
In the end, after all that, no decision has been made.
Quoted from RCA1:No idea which, but that might have been posted by his girlfriend.
The level of admiration might be worse that way.
That is pure Steven!
Quoted from electricsquirrel:If he makes it through this, I guarantee that he will be back to gloat and brag about it.
After reading that lengthy post, I think I understand.
It's not fair that Steve would have to pay for something that Otaku did.
Quoted from beelzeboob:Didn't get anything yet. I would have posted if I had. Looks like it's been delayed a day if you believe the tracking info. Bigger question: What happened to the $100 he sent and proved he sent with a screen shot? [quoted image]
There were two things my dad used to say often:
"don't hold your hand on your ass till it happens"
And,
"blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall not be disappointed".
Wow!
Your mother has a fucked up sense of humor.
Sorry to make you re-live that traumatic episode of your childhood.
E
Quoted from Ericc123:That is disgraceful. I thumbed down the video and made a comment letting him know why.
Could you post the video in question?
Quoted from beelzeboob:...said nobody, ever.
I have, but he probably doesn't remember.
Dropping his name at certain pinball events gives you instant cred!
Quoted from Flowst:Mr.Steven blesses all with his presence in the recent TNT video release (towards the end).
At the 37 mark, where he asks Todd to pay for dinner at Applebee's!
