Last night I was musing (to myself) about How the go fund me king should just start one for the escalera..With funds directly to Boob’s PayPal or something— given that we are clear he’s not buying Randy a new one because all corners of the situation are good now. At least he’d be helping Randy AND doing something he’s good at (taking free money from strangers) but it Just seemed like such a cop out and at this Point I don’t think anyone wants him involved.

The T-shirts are a great idea. In addition, what about directly throwing a few bones to Randys PayPal to make up the difference on a new escalera and straighten out some good karma he deserves for loaning it out? Steven has burned any bridges or goodwill he could have had here unfortunately and that ship has sailed into the upside down but as a community we can def. make it right for the boob.

That was the start of a payment plan I think? But then after posting the tracking info he decided to cancel it and send parts instead and offer his labor to fix it (ignoring the fact that he does not know how to fix it and that anyone in boobs situation wouldn’t want Stephen near their house, let alone The f’d up escalara). Of course this was all found out days and days later after the $$ never shows up

Were there REALLY that many go fund mes? That is insane. There was a basement flood AND a sump pump, separately? Some of these I remember for sure, but didn’t know there was quite so many.

I started back at the beginning of this thread and love how the arcade is played off as almost a charity - this great gift to the community, and he takes in the donations and donated games. Who the hell starts a for-profit business like this? Total scam and sham ever since crawling out of that basement years ago. I do wonder how the story ends.. does the arcade close and Todd takes him in full time? How many more go-fund-mes in stephans future?

Yeah I do recall in the beginning there was definitely some sympathy and quite a number of pinsiders at first siding with him and contributing. Things have sure changed over a few years.

I really thought this was drying up... we were close, but then he just couldn’t stay away even though he acknowledges silence is the best response. But nope, every time, the exact opposite of silence. Sigh.

I will say that pinsider or not, narcissist, moocher, so and and so forth or not, and regardless that Stephen has brought a lot of this on himself— I actually do agree that Burying the hatchet on continued attacks/insults on anything about appearance/sweatpants/personal hygiene could perhaps be best. It’s kinda just mean at this point.

I’m actually thinking, despite the ‘bullying’ , that few posters here actually want to see Gamemuseum fail and as such free merch for Steveen/gamemuseum isn’t as big a motivator to stamp out negativity as you might think.

Anyway, I’m all for ending this thread and leaving Stephan alone. His history with Pinside as a holier than thou ass and insulter of members here, and escalera destroyer , and taker of free money to fund more pinballs, warranted backlash but to the point now of continued making fun of personal appearance and stalking FB to laugh at posts and such, I dunno.. at some point does he pay his ‘pittance’? I tend to think it’s time to let this die. Boob got his escalera and the plaque is complete. We can end on that good note? (Now queue 60 posts cause Stephens back again)
