Shouldn't surprise anybody who knows his body of work - Steve LOVES going after hard working, honest people who have been making their living AND contributing to the pinball hobby and community for decades before he ever slipped on his first pair of sweatpants. But his complete misunderstanding about how the world works never ceases to amaze me. Nobody owes you anything, not 5 changes to a shipping address for your order of $25 worth of parts, nor first dibs on a moldy, $150 Gottlieb Spinout that you want to charge the public to play.
You'd really think he'd be more friendly to the vets around here, people who could offer him help on why his flippers aren't working.
I say this with no joy because we need all the arcades we can get, but I'm giving the Gameseum 6 months.

Ok, so I’ll admit that I piled on this kid several times in this thread and have no regrets doing it after seeing how he treated others on here. BUT, I’ll also man up and admit that after seeing that video, I have to give him kudos for his gumption to try and make this arcade a success. Don’t get me wrong, he’s doing stupid shit left and right but I respect the fact that he really believes he’s got something going. And even if his shit isn’t as rare or mint as he says it is, he’s still promoting it that way which I can’t really blame him about. When your in business, you promote yourself as being the best, otherwise you fail because if you don’t believe in yourself, nobody else will either. Now, after saying that, he is still too young to know that he doesn’t know shit. And that will be his downfall.
I’ll still be giving him shit though as he seems to warrant it on a daily basis. Just wanted to admit that I gained a little bit of respect for him. Just a little though.

In a 30 day period that averages just over 60 people a day.
Surely on a Friday and Saturday night you get more than 60 people which offsets the weekdays.
I think this number is plausible especially with media coverage etc.

Assuming they arent lying, every following month will just get worse unless he gets new games constantly. People wont keep coming back to play the same tired old games.
I’m going to go out a limb here, but maybe he’s counting all the people that went over their time allotment and had to pay up again as “new” customers. That sure will build up the numbers quickly
