Backwards B and all.
Nice Kev...and that’s a nice damn bathroom! After the pics above, all I have in my head is the video from The Kill.
Awesome tribute to Jack and the movie by Leto.
Quoted from Ronnie1114:How much would it cost to get someone to wear their new shirt to Gameseum?
If boob goes with the shirt wheeling in his (now not his) escalara would be priceless!

I’ve heard that song but never seen the video.
Very cool!
Thank you for the bathroom compliment. It was a huge project that took about 9 months to complete about 5 years ago.
I did most of the work.
Quoted from Ronnie1114:How much would it cost to get someone to wear their new shirt to Gameseum?
Nothing at all!
If it was closer I’d go this weekend.
I would definitely call first and ask a few questions:
Do you have any newer Stern or JJP /etc machines?
Why the F not?
Do you have asteroids deluxe?
One is not enough how many do you have?
How about GALAGA?
Best damn arcade game ever!
Pinball makes me hungry and also tenses up my neck muscles.
Is there a “massage parlor” nearby and also somewhere good to eat?
I’m a simple man and pinball,”massages” and food are all I need to be happy!
Definitely potential for hilarious photo/ video.
Quoted from NoQuarters:Probably no waiting on Air Hockeeeey when you go.
Or anything. Except maybe a game to be fixed.

When I read that, why is this what pops into my head?...
4f8m9i (resized).jpgI proudly present The Pinside Escalera. If your name isn't on the plaque and you donated to it, that means something went horribly wrong, so just let me know! The first few pics are just the Escalera. I transferred the brakes, big wheels, and larger plate over from the Otaku'ed unit. The last pic is with the forklift attachment. I got the pinball lifter plate for the forklift as well but didn't put it on for the pictures. It's not very exciting, really.
A final HUGE thank you to all the people who turned this whole experience from yuck to yay in just one month. Seems like I owe quite a few drinks to some people down the road when I get to meet you all. In the meantime, enjoy the shirts if you're getting one, and the infamy on the side of an Escalera if you're not.
And whatever you do, don't ask me if you can borrow it.
PS - I hope Robin doesn't sue me for copyright infringement.

Glad to see it's done boob and it looks great! I don't know if I'm sold on the fork attachment, is there a need for that very often?

I just sold my pinball lifter, so it lifts the cabinets when I'm painting them. More importantly, I had to move an insanely heavy jukebox last month just before I got this thing. Let me tell you...lifting one of those into the back of the truck with only two guys is a bitch (and I have toothpick arms, so it's like one and a half guys). I thought I was going to pop a hernia on the side that hasn't given way yet.
I'm getting another jukebox this month, and this time I'm not afraid of the process at all. This thing is amazing, and it's one of those things you don't think you need until you do. (And my wife is eyeing it for moving furniture now, too...)
Looks well built. Probably worth more than anything Steven owns. Even more than Air Hockeeeeeey. Congratulations, take care of it!

Randy's Escalera is pretty impressive too !

Disclaimer : First time I ever heard the boob referred to as a beast.

I once bought an early 50s Wurlitzer. Guy loaded it in pickup truck for me with a forklift.
Got back at like 1a.m. with it and just me and a medium size buddy to unload it.....yeah....TOTALLY digging the forklift option!
No exaggerating, found out after the fact that the curb weight of it was like 470! If I had realized that, I may not have even wound up with it.

Yeah....makes my tiny, beat up, old, basic one feel kind of ashamed

I know the feeling.
Back in 1981 when times were great and I got a pinball cart, appliance dolly, lift gate, or again early 1990's when times were good. Why the heck I didn't bother to get an Escalera or similar dolly then ?

I suspect alcohol and debauchery
Boob, tis a work of art! Congrats on the marvelous stair climber thingee.
My nonsense name shall live on in immortal grandeur.
All kidding aside, I am happy this worked out in a positive way. You're a great guy and deserve this.

Quoted from Flowst:I suspect alcohol and debauchery
No. Drinking days were behind me. And debauchery didn't commence until 1994.

Quoted from Moli410:Hey Boob, can I borrow it for a weekend?
No you have to have your name on it to break I mean borrow it.

His name's on it.

I’m local, so I get first dibs
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Fuck. Is it too late to send in 5 bucks and get on the plaque?
I'll sharpie your name onto mine for some booze.

I wouldn’t have expected 20 out of 25 working.

I just love the first comment. It was in the EM Pinball group which made no sense because he doesn't have any. I think Thomas was paid for his post

And apparently he can’t spell Ephrata.

Shit. I thought I did donate. I wanted my name on there so Janice could run her finger over it every time she walks out in the garage.
Congrats man. Thing looks great.
