Despite the disagreements and large continued doubt in the certain areas/accusations regarding what this situation ever was and especially has turned out to be, Steven has already previously reached out to Randy at the time of purchase (July 24th, 2020) via Facebook with a full private apology for the events in 2017 and forward, and in regards to your comment, at that time, Steven has already previously proposed an open offer to make the trip to East Hanover, NJ himself if need be, to assist in repairing the hardware as a sign of goodwill and to lend a hand, and has provided Randy with his personal phone number to make that call if he feels it is needed. He is certainly open to having that offer fulfilled if Randy needs a hand, and wishes Randy nothing but the best.
Steven is off every Wednesday (and would not need employees to cover that day) and would be happy to make the trip on his one day off per week to help further rectify the situation as needed.
Best wishes!
I knew this was coming.
Attention all 6 Steven accounts
LET IT FUCKING GO.
If you do it, maybe everybody else will too?

And what about the public statement that he made saying he still planned to purchase a new unit entirely for him when he could???
What about the $100 you said that you sent?
We know it's you. No one else would type a 118 word sentence.

We'll be taking our leave from the thread now, and already had, but felt it was needed to tie up that last remaining discussion point nicely. It was already handled privately, as is the rest of remaining discussion in this thread... the situation is between Steven and Randy and there is no need to carry it on publicly (nor was there ever). All corners of the situation have been previously covered and rectified to a large degree, including the current discussion points here... so we felt it was nice to tie them up!
Best wishes.
Quoted from RCA1:What about the $100 you said that you sent?

You clearly didn't read an ounce of the single post we made for the sole purpose of discussing the $100 that was sent. WOW. That's a new Pinside low.
Good day everybody! So glad this is ALL cleared up!
Should have read the first four words (quoted again below)! That explains a lot, reading comprehension is not a strong suit here...
Quoted from Gameseum:Hi,
Steven's $100 check, meant as payment towards the parts, was upgraded (and thus cancelled) to instead buying the parts in full immediately, rather than over time via payments. I think a lot of people are misunderstanding the point of the $100 (it was not "sorry" money - Steven preferred to offer genuine apologies alongside of repaying the "debt" in full), which was meant as money towards the cost of the parts, and is unneeded as the parts were quickly re-decided to be purchased directly by Steven instead at the cost of $324.12 a day or two later, and the check was reasonably cancelled as per the money being redirected to there. Steven certainly didn't want to make Randy wait to receive payments over time (and those bank checks are slow to begin with), so he upgraded the situation as soon as he was was able and mended it immediately and directly instead, instead of doing payments over time, which is certainly the better way for the situation to be handled by all means. The money was solely meant for parts, and instead was rerouted towards the company to send the parts to Randy - I'm not sure why that's not coming across. The "money" still arrived.
Not sure how/why the $100 is still being expected, after the situation was entirely mended by the parts being paid in full instead. It's one or the other: No reason for payments as the situation was paid back in full, which was the sole purpose of the $100 - to go towards parts. The parts were paid in full directly instead, and have been successfully delivered, solving the entire problem. There is no reason for duplicate payments of course. The situation has already been paid and resolved in full, leaving no remaining balance or no need for payments.
So nice to hear all the parts arrived as intended and we wish you the best Randy!
As we close out this situation, the two receipts (dated 07/24/2020 for reference in regards to this thread) are attached below for full public transparency.

How is it that such a social media expert just can not get this through his thick head.

OK so that "thread leave" lasted 25 seconds.
Serious question: what the fuck is wrong with you people?

Pulling back a measly hundred bucks that appeared to be sent as 'good faith' type money AND not even telling him....expecting boob's time to be worth nothing, not offering to pay for repairs but instead offer to come tinker with a device steven obviously has no knowledge on servicing...
Using a pinside "business account" in this way....
#Mostfuckedupwaytodobusinessever

Again, reading comprehension...
Please read and refer to the post we literally made 2 MINUTES AGO where Steven literally clearly offers to either mend the situation himself OR pay for repairs, to Randy himself:
Thanks!
The lack of reading comprehension here is uncanny.
We feel everybody here should actually read what is written before replying, and pay attention, and you would see the situation is pleasantly resolved in all corners. At this point it is just us redirecting you to posts that already answered your concerns, let alone posts that were JUST written. Come on.
We already have addressed any of these concerns many times and the proof is easily found here in this thread, not to mention in replies minutes before your own, that you yourself are quoting in your posts. Read, read, reeeeeead! Please.
Have a good night guys!
I understand not wanting an arcade to fail for the betterment of the hobby, but people like this just may need to fail once or twice in life in order to become better people. I think this guy is a disgrace to all the honest people in this hobby who would give you the shirt off their back. Or their brand new escalera to use.
It's pretty low how Steve pimps out his babe as cover for his neverending bullshit.
THere is no bottom with this guy.
Quoted from pacmanretro:And what about the public statement that he made saying he still planned to purchase a new unit entirely for him when he could???
Crickets from 'gameseum business account'...just like last 3 times I asked...

Yup. Sure is.
Quoted from InfiniteLives:the faster he responds to posts the easier it is to see its steven typing on that account lol
Well, Wednesdays are Stevens day off, so no need to have all those employees cover work for him while gameseum takes care of pinside questions
Just came in to tie up the last remaining/unanswered loose end, and are glad the situation has already been fully resolved in all corners for sure. Steven wishes Randy the best. Any other questions, please refer to previous replies in this thread as stated. All current, previous, and future concerns are already taken care of and the situation is fully resolved.
This is, and always should have been, between Steven and Randy... not to mention let alone that situation is already resolved itself too and was largely based in 2017.
This situation has already ended, and this ends here. Wishing you all the best! Keep on pinballin'!
Ok, for the illiterate as I must be, when will Steven be purchasing a brand new escalera as he stated he would previously?????
Read read read your own novel please.
Quoted from Gameseum:the situation is fully resolved.
So you are backing out of your previous offer to buy a brand new escalara when you can, and swap for the damaged/repaired one. Just wanted to be clear.
There is some weird phrasing in the responses. "All corners of the situation" is said numerous times. It's almost like somebody is trying to sound more high-faluting than they are. Or ran text through a translator or something. Very...awkward. Maybe it's this new-fangled social media speak that I am too old and stupid to understand?
The heavy use of exclamation marks must be highly contagious!
Between Otaku, XeXpinball and "corporate social media account manager" I've lost count!

Wait...you're still here?
Quoted from Otaku:Honestly, I'd love to just buy you a new one of the same model, and you can trade me the old one if you like and skip all the other stuff... but it's going to be a while before I see that kind of money all at once. But that's what I was hoping to do.
Steven
PLEASE!!!
Can someone help my illiterate ass figure out what these words say?????????
Edit: meant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to tie up some loose ends and then this is my last post on the subject 5 posts later still talking..........
Quoted from RCA1:So you are backing out of your previous offer to buy a brand new escalara when you can, and swap for the damaged/repaired one. Just wanted to be clear.
This idea was never proposed or confirmed by Steven or any of us, and I encourage you to find a quote that cements this as any sort of final offer we made. "Hoping" does not count. Steven mentioned something along those lines privately to Randy, but it was never made public, and was very transparent as just a potential idea, and that he knew he was eliminating all debt by purchasing the parts.
You're making a lot of things up, and also refusing to read any of our posts.
As our final post, we encourage people here to actually read what is already written and clearly explained before commenting, and attempt to backup discussion points before coming up with replies. It is clear you are running out of material, and unfortunately at the same time, ignoring facts, rationality, or providing any inkling of proof for this entire situation, meanwhile slandering and throwing accusations heavily - for a situation that (supposedly) occurred between a teenage Steven and Randy many years ago no less, one which none of you were involved with or present for. After years of posting and thousands of posts here, most of you not even here (or even on Pinside) when this thread was created, it is natural for you all to lose basis and your grappling on the situation, however it has created a lot of false statements and assumptions as shown by the recent third-party activity on this thread.
Steven and Randy have resolved the situation privately and publicly, they are in private communication if ever need be, and that is all that matters, and no further explanation is required (nor was ever).
Good day and keep on pinballin'!
Quoted from Otaku:People are slowly coming back out though. Every day seems to be earning more than the last, and things are slowly going back to normal (at least in the minds of Pennsylvanians) so hopefully soon I'll be able to increase my payments, or just buy him one. It'll take a while, but I have no problem with starting.
Quoted from Otaku:Honestly, I'd love to just buy you a new one of the same model, and you can trade me the old one if you like and skip all the other stuff... but it's going to be a while before I see that kind of money all at once. But that's what I was hoping to do.
Steven
Yeah - last I knew Steven was going to either buy a whole new one, or pay in increments until he repaid the debt for a new one. Nice "upgrade" to parts that have to be installed on a used one.
Quoted from brucipher:Yeah - last I knew Steven was going to either buy a whole new one, or pay in increments until he repaid the debt for a new one. Nice "upgrade" to parts that have to be installed on a used one.
This kind of crappy stuff is why I showed concern.to Randy earlier on; When he was spit balling about possible ways to get a new one and possibly steven get one and help charity.
I'm glad, for Randy's sake, he didn't go down that path and wind up getting skunked in the deal. It was a nice thought though.
Quoted from Gameseum:for a situation that (supposedly) occurred between a teenage Steven and Randy many years ago no less,
You don't buy replacement parts for a "supposed" situation.
Quoted from DBLM:You don't buy replacement parts for a "supposed" situation.
Again....it was Otaku that did that....it was only supposedly Steven.
Ohh wait, which one of them was the one that finally admitted they knew it was wrong recently?
Guess that museum place should try reading otaku posts some time...
Quoted from Gameseum:As our final post, we encourage people here to actually read what is already written
Wow you take being a glutton for punishment to new heights, do you get some perverse enjoyment out of it? Sorry I ask that question, I guess I just didn't read/comprehend where you said it was your last post 7-8 post ago. Do you comprehend what "last post" means or are your social media skills lacking in this one area?
Quoted from pacmanretro:Guess that museum place should try reading otaku posts some time...
Do they have that kind of time?
Quoted from pacmanretro:Only on Wednesdays
.....and the other days are spent staring out the window. Counting cars.
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Do they have that kind of time?
When I was younger, I worked for a local op who would frequently just leave me a little list of stuff that needed done in the shop.
If gameseum leaves to do lists written like pinside posts, I feel bad for "employees".
'Today, I would like you to clean the marquees and bezels off, wipe down counters, ... <insert War and Peace all as one sentence> ... , then go on social media and upset some potential customers.'
Quoted from Gameseum:As our final post, we encourage people here to actually read what is already written and clearly explained before commenting
First, welcome back Steven. I knew you couldn't stay away. And trust us. We've read it all. Well not everything you wrote because only you could read that much mindless dribble. I encourage you (Steven, Steven's wife/girlfriend, unfortunate employee who is being made to type replies for minimum wage but is still most likely Steven) to read everything here and actually answer the questions that are still unanswered. Or just leave like you promised. This thread was all but dead and then here comes Steven like the Koolaid Man busting through the wall looking for attention. I think you just missed all the attention since you don't care if it's good or bad attention. Don't you have an expensive soldering iron that you borrowed that you need to wave around like a magic wand, then drop when you burn yourself because you don't know which end is the hot end? Then return it to the original owner without telling them you broke it.
Quoted from Gameseum:Again, reading comprehension...

Quoted from Otaku:We also don't have payroll as we have no employees
You said you didn't have employees. Now you have employees to cover you in the unlikely event boob would accept your help. So you can pay employees but not the boob? See I am reading before replying. Now respond to my question with 2000 words that don't answer my question
Quoted from Gameseum:We'll be taking our leave from the thread now
Ok bye not Steven (wink wink).
