Games with three or more flipper buttons seem to often have interesting designs, but I don't see any way to search for it on ipdb, so was hoping people could just post whatever they know of?

Heavy Metal Meltdown has four buttons total...although two are for flippers and the other are solely for lane change, which seems like a waste!

Fireball 2, little Demon post.

Haunted House

Demolition Man if you count the trigger grips and/or topmost thumb buttons

JM has four, but the two further back are only used for moving the hand and the video mode.

Freddy has one for the claw in the middle

Jolly Park has 2 for the upper playfield magnets.

#11 9 years ago

Jungle Lord also has the magnasave buttons.

Strange Science has a ball save button on left side in front of left flipper button. One of the coolest features of any game I have played.

Revenge from Mars has those buttons for selecting missions. I'm not sure what else they're used for.

Bally Nip-It: extra button on right side to activate the gator grabber

Bally Speakeasy has a button on the left side. It cancels lit rollovers on top in order to put them in sequence for the chance to win an extra ball (costs 25k points). I know that probably doesn't make sense to anyone who doesn't know the game, but trust me, or maybe someone else can explain it better.

As does swe1. Think they fire missiles in multiball.

They are also used in the Attack Mars mode to line up the crosshairs on the alien ships.

We started a thread with the same subject a few days ago over at vpforums .
Button placement and information about what game does what with which button is something a lot of people care for when they build an virtual pincab.

Anyway, we got a bit of useful information from this thread and have a few machines not listed here.

Damn, missing the best game in the genre, Hardbody! Gotta use the flex save.

Defender has two extra buttons. The one on the right operates the smart bombs and the one on the left operates the kickback.

Bone busters has the separate button for the lane change flipper

Here's a couple other oddball ones that technically fit the bill: Dinosaur Eggs and USA Football (the flipperless version that isn't in the archive here). They both have 4 flipper buttons that are just about as "extra" as you can get. The 4 on Dinosaur Eggs don't do anything at all.... in fact they are immobilized so you can't push them. 2 of the 4 on the flipperless version of USA Football are for your initials and for moving the "DOUBLE TICKET" light, the other 2 are immobilized.

Alvin G used up old A.G. Soccer-Ball / A.G. Football / USA Football head-to-head cabinets for these two titles, hence the unused flipper buttons. Just an interesting piece of trivia, so I figured I'd list them.

Surprised nobody mentioned ACDC yet - middle button to fire the cannon.

Just played two in my tournament last week. Medusa has a button to push middle poker between flippers and Special Force has buttons to shoot rockets and bombs next to each flipper in game. Kinda wish they were added to some games today. Also if counting TFTC has door handle button. Also Star Wars and Revenge from Mars last Williams machines buttons on side for lazers.
