I just went through this with Tee'd Off - and I was warned beforehand. It was a lot of fun at first, but due to some inexorable flaw in the game, it suddenly became unplayable. I wonder if this is true of other Gottlieb System 3 games?

Conversely System 11 Games - even ones that seem very simplistic like Taxi - have seemingly endless appeal.

I know there are other games, from other eras, that fit this bill: good at first and then suddenly bad. Champion Pub and Who Dunnit seem to have shorter shelf lives than their peers.

Agree or disagree? What are ones you feel fit this category...

Quoted from Whysnow:

just curious what this flaw is in your opinion?
I find Tee'd Off to have tons of staying power and would happily recommend it as a single pin game for someone. I actually gave one to my brother as his only pin game and he loves it. We had it on route before going to my brother and pretty much all location players also really liked it and were sad to see it go.

Unbalanced scoring (captive ball and center shot) is the short answer. But, more than that... It became repetive and unchallenging, the music and callouts grew tiresome, the artwork got old... It was a cumulative effect for me, and what was interesting is I didn't see it at first.
I don't think I'm alone in this opinion on that game, but I also understand many like the game a lot too. Especially the casual player which, not unlike SP, makes it a good route game.
