OK guys, I moved into a new home about 10 months ago and am finally in the process of finishing off my basement game room.
My question is about flooring options.
It is a walk out basement with no moisture problems. I am thinking something that will deaden the sounds and will be warm/comfortable on the feet. I do need something fairly hard as I do tend to move games around and bring in new games often.
I am leaning toward a cord floor as it is a good sound insulation and stays fairly warm. Not sure about durability moving games, will by pinball dolly leave tracks from the wheels, etc..
I don't want carpet as we have small dogs that think the basement is their private bathroom..
Laminate is good and hard, nice appearance however cold on the feet and seems to increase sound levels.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Brian
