Have a game that is coin operated and shows 1 credit but will not start when the round silver button is pushed. Used to work but have not played it for a while and now it will not start. Any ideas on how to fix. Thanks.

What manufacturer and model is the game? Was it previously set for free-play? If you actuate the Start relay by hand (use a wooden stick just in case), does it start the game?

If it is an EM machine, this is the guide you'll want to go through step by step:

Could be many issues down the chain. Good luck-

Thanks for the replys. It is a Bally Machine. I'm not too good at fixing them, so could you please give me a clue what the Start relay looks like and where it is located in the machine. Thanks very much! A photo would be greatly appreciated!

Are your relays labelled?

when I saw the pin repair link I thought it specifically went to the "free play section"
http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index3.htm#free

I would suspect it is the leaf switch on the credit wheel that is not making contact even though you have credits shown in the window

I'd look there first

It's a Bally Big Show and it is set for coin operation.

Is that the 1956 or the 1974 Bally Big Show?

the 1974 Big Show is 1 of 3 pins in the listed collection
