I had been getting all my game roms from that pinball place (John wart), but he hasn't responded to me. Where are some good places to pick up roms?

    Thx

I know its not what you asked, but they are really easy to burn yourself. one time fee of $100 for both items and no worries after that.
I used it for pinbot, theatre & a few baby pac roms. guess if you only need one every once in a while it's probably not worth it though.

This is what I bought, I use it with windows 10 currently.

Are these roms custom software changes to the rules?

WHo are you asking? @OP wanted game ROMs, and hocuslocus mentioned that OP just burn his own. Noone mentioned anything more specific than that.

Thanks, it's pretty infrequent that I need roms, easier to just buy them when I need them. Need them for LOTR, tspp and JP.

lermods Check out www.actionpinball.com in Utah. They appear to sell all three of the roms you want (and lots of others). I bought 5.0 display and game roms from them in June for my The Simpsons Pinball Party - received the parts quickly and they've worked fine so far. $10 each plus shipping.

Oops, I just saw your later post where you mentioned Action Pinball already.

Where is the best place to get blank eproms?

Is IPDB the place to get the ROM software?

I think most blank EPROMs are pulls that have been cleaned and erased. Probably EBay. IPDB is the best place to find ROM software. They'll mostly likely have what you are looking for. I have run into a problem here or there, and then had to get creative to find them.

you can get them from marco,
http://www.marcospecialties.com/control/keywordsearch?SEARCH_STRING=eprom. obviously get the correct amount of pins, system 11 era pins are usually the 28 and after that is usually 32 pin. a lot of the 28 pins only can contain KB's worth of data while the 32 pin can hold MB's of data. later games are easier since there is only one file to transfer, since they combine everything into one rom. At least I think they did it.

I usually get the files from the planetary pin website, IPDB or another place that has them is
http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=9. The last one is actually probably the easiest to navigate.

for the last one say your downloading the rom for a system 11 game, just download the desired revision and all the speech, sound and game roms should be included. I've used the vp site for a few of my downloads, so It works fine.

Just closing the loop here, great experience with Action Pinball. Roms arrived in just a few days and all were perfect. LOTR, JP and tspp display and cpu.
