I just purchased a used Big Hit pinball machine. The problem I am having is that when I press the start button, it immediately makes a few relay noises, reduces the game count by 1, and then immediately says "game over". (It does NOT say tilt) If I remove the glass and manually put the ball in the play field, it allows me to play, but the moment it goes back into the start pocket, it says "game over". I can also simply press the small switch on the right side of the start pocket to put it into "game over". Anyone have suggestions? Thanks

I might suggest posting in Electro-Mechanical as there is a tech section there and more importantly more EM brained people!
Good Luck.

Check to make sure there aren't any playfield switches stuck closed... I had this problem with a Big Hit after I adjusted the vari-targets. Freed it up and it was good to go.
