Pretty unbearable and atrocious video mode. I have won it, and I'll keep doing it as the 3X 60,000,000 is hard to say no to. But it's bad.
Basically retreat at the first sign of trouble and stab, retreat. Don't just attack like a lunatic, or you will die a very slow, protracted, and poorly animated and rendered death.
There's a bug in the video mode code they need to address.
If you have Wall multiball and mystery lit at the same time, and shoot the dragon shot, mystery will may allow you to pick video mode.
If you do, it will start Wall multiball anyway, with the intro pausing for a moment to announce you've been defeated.
You need to be able to play out video mode before multiball starts, or not be allowed to choose video mode if multiball is ready.
