Sopranos did NOT leave the ending open. Tony was killed. The only bone I have to pick with the way they did it is it would have been more obvious if you were seeing from Tony's perspective when it went dark instead of looking AT Tony. But I was fine with that ending. I thought they *almost* nailed it.
Breaking Bad did an amazing job finishing the show in a satisfying way, but yeah, there aren't many series that end well.

The closest to a 'perfect ending', or more realistically the ending with the fewest complaints and plot holes has to be Friends.
Breaking Bad was also an ending I enjoyed.
The Blacklist, which only ended last week, I enjoyed as well - right up to the end which had a major plot flaw, and a very unexpected ending.
Worst ending ever has to be Lost, but it also went downhill after series 2 - they should have just stopped then.

My problem with the last season is they just abandoned character arc. Jon Snow just completely became a different person, everything before just went away. The Hound was like the only guy that followed his arc and had a proper ending. As much as I enjoyed the character he was side kick and his was like the only story line that worked.
Briana crying in the street, Jamie just going ah never mind I am just dick, Arya never really resolved any of the God of Death and faces thing. Sansa suddenly becomes the spine of the family she was the weakest of them all. Fucking breast feeding brat has a vote in Jons fate it was laughable.
