If you get a chance to watch the making of the long night I would recommend it. It's 40 minutes long and shows what they went though to shoot the last episode. Initially I was disappointed in the episode however I have a new found appreciation for it. Think it took 55 nights in the dark to film that episode. Pretty neat to see how they did some of the special effects.

After 7 seasons:
The Hound - evolved to move away from revenge on his zombie brother - only to return for CleganeBowl?
They could have fought in the season 7 courtyard meetup but didn't because he knew his brother was already dead and it was no longer important.
Brienne - A noble warrior finally becomes a knight, but the last shot of her is sobbing like a baby over Jamie?
Varys - outsmarted by a queen who didn't even know he was the traitor?
Dani - She felt so bad about Drogon killing the innocent Sheppard boy that she locked up her dragons, but now goes scorched Earth on all the innocents of kings landing just 15 minutes after she agreed to call off the attack if the bells ring.
Bronn - Fought with the brothers & saved their lives many times, but now decides to drop friendship & loyalty for assassin gold? Is this the same Bronn that taught fighting skills to Podrick?
Tormund - After multiple battles with Jon, up and leaves before the biggest final battle?
Sam - just says goodbye and disappears
Tryion - After 7 years of brilliant insight and manipulation suddenly can't figure out how to play Stratego?
Cersei - A completely ruthless person who takes advantage of every situation, but doesn't take advantage of the wall meet up to attack Tryion or Dani, but instead stands by for 20 minutes while the city is destroyed?
