Well, they _have to_ - all the undead are dead again.
I'm hoping they have a real cool ending figured out, but are just having trouble getting to there from here in a shortened episode span.
I'm hoping. But, it's been a fun ride, even if they don't stick the landing.

Yes. All Jon _really_ wanted to do was defeat the Night King; he wound up doing some other things to further that end, but once that was done, all he wanted was to settle down and bump uglies with a pretty girl. Maybe he'll find another one, up North.
