There's no way the price is not going up with a color display. No way.

So you're saying we do have a chance of seeing the price go down!

Quoted from Iceman5000:

Yes I'm talking about the domed flashers. Yes Got and KISS have them, but they are nothing more than another led, software controlled to imitate a flasher. MMR also has LED's as flashers, but they are much brighter. I guess if most people can't tell the difference then that makes Stern's decision, that much better. But I personally think the flashers suck on every Stern after TWD.

Welcome to 2015. The change here is that the flashers run off 5v LEDs rather than off 20v circuits pulsing 13v LEDs. The actual LEDs themselves are the same light. In the 13v version they're just rectified so that they receive less power. In short, in 1990 you needed a lot of power to make an incandescent bright. In 2015 you can achieve the exact same effect without the high voltage. So they cut the high voltage from the equation.

The flashers themselves are just as bright. The difference may be in the choice in which flashers they use and where. This has nothing to do with Spike. There is nothing in spike that can't produce the exact same effects seen in walking dead.

And this is from an LED expert! Thanks for the explanation Markmon
