Stern, 2015Thinking of adding a powered sub to my got. However, I'm conflicted. Should I add this using the audio jack on the board and then running the cord out of the back box to rca cabling ? Or should I tap into the speaker wire? The one thing about the speaker wire is that it's soldered on to the sub. Not sure if that's standard but it makes it much more difficult than just unscrewing a speaker wire clamp.

Ive always soldered the speaker wire (to the external sub) directly to the lugs of the woofer in the bottom of the cabinet, works great!
