Quoted from spandol:Did you ever get this fixed to where the ball stays in the throne? Mine is leveled at 6.5 and it falls out more than 50% of the time. I need to look at in in more detail when I get a chance. Don't really have an issue getting to the elevator but when I go to mystery, I have to catch the ball with my flippers before I can choose my award.
I added a small block of foam to front of throne in the small cut out area and it's never fallen out since.
Very simple fix. used the same idea on WOZ when ball falling out of monkey lock when dropped.
Foam dampens the fall reducing bounce.
Here is the other option of the foam block, the one I used has a self adhesive side so just cut to size and stick on.
This is my trial piece so was cut a little rough but after loads of games it's still there and the ball hasn't fallen out once.
It works perfect for me so I'm going to cut a neater piece and replace. Also should add I haven't touched anything else to try and solve the ball falling out issue just the foam block.
