It's a 5A slow blo, so if a 6 is blowing, you've got problems.

Is the Bridge Rectifier shorted, are flipper coils shorted, coil diodes shorted, EOS switch not adjusted properly....?

Is it blowing in attract mode, or after several minutes of play?

If it melts after a few minutes it indicates there is no short.

What type of fuse do you have? You need SB (slo-blo).

That kind of fuse gives some extra slack in the short time range, i.e. it does not melt with an overcurrent for a short duration (seconds). If a coil is energized it takes a lot of current, but only for a short time.
