Big Deal
Williams, 1977I'm very new to the whole "attempt to fix machines" game and I have what hopefully is a simple issue to fix.
I went to look at and buy a Williams big deal and when. I checked it out, it started a game and everything worked. The only issue was a leaf switch causing the bonus to continuously rack up. I figure I fixed that already, so by the time I got it home and set it up, I turned the machine on and it keeps blowing a fuse. What do I do to figure out what is causing this and how do I fix it?

Did you take the machine apart & reassemble ? If so, you may have inproperly installed the Jones Plugs.
May be best to ask a local pin collector to help show you how to troubleshoot.
You can use a Multimeter to test the resistance of the coils to find if one is shorted. You might want to check all of them but you can at least start with the ones on the path where the fuse blows. If the multimeter reads less than 2 ohms the coil probably should be replaced.
