Got a bally xs and os with a new rectifier board. The 4amp fuse blows when I installed and turned on. Any idea what this powers? What could cause the issue? Thanks

F4 looks like it's the solenoid power, disconnect everything from the solenoid driver board replace the fuse turn it on and see if it blows. If it does, suspect shorted bridge on the rectifier board. If it doesn't, you likely have a locked on driver transistor for a solenoid you need to track down.
The rectifier board and the solenoid board are both brand new. When the solenoid board is not hooked up the fuse is fine. Where are the driver transitors for the solenoids? What does it look like? How to tell if its locked on? Thanks
The drive transistors for the solenoids are on the solenoid driver board. With power off, Remove F4, power up and go to switch test and see if there are any switches closed that control the solenoids, such as pop bumpers, slingshots, etc. Report back
New solenoid board. Why would any be bad or locked on? The only time when it blows is when the top right connector is hooked up. I got no 12v or 5v on the new solenoid board.
It's best to use the connector identifier. Like J1, J2, etc. And specify the board(s). Sounds like you have a dead short somewhere.
P3 connector. The molex looked a lil corroded on the wire harness that plugs in to the rectifier. Could this be an issue? Any tips on how to clean without taking apart? Not at machine to take pic.
