Hello All! Just thought I would tell you what just happened at my house. On Saturday I had my alarm system upgraded by ADT with all new parts. My stuff was from 2004. The catch was you had to sign a monitoring contract for 3 years at 27.99 a month. I had been meaning to start monitoring again so I saw this as a good way to jump in getting all new stuff. Part of the deal was 2 glass break monitors of which one was on the first floor in the pinball room. I armed the system and decided to play a few games before going to bed. Bear in mind the siren is on the second floor a good distance away from the "noisy" game room. I am playing SST on multiball so lots of stuff going on and evidently the glass break monitor set the alarm off but I didn't hear it. My wife comes screaming downstairs "can't you hear the alarm going off?" So just then I could hear it and I realized what happened. Dis armed the system and right about then I get a call on my cell phone from ADT asking me if everything was alright! I said yes, I was playing pinball and I guess it set the glass break sensor off. The lady got a good laugh! She asked me some security questions which I answered so all was fine. I bet that was a new one for her to hear. Pinball setting off alarms. I guess in the future if I am going to play be sure not to set the alarm......LOL

LOL, but I'm sure you can still set the alarm just bypass that one zone.

Indeed. That is why I did not install a glass break sensor close to my pins. The ball hitting the glass for sure sets off the alarm.
