Quoted from Jenniebear:[quoted image]
My favorite episode of Andy Griffith is the one where Andy explains to Opie how the world works: you put in your 8 hours a day and you try to make ends meet. Opie’s quiet, so Andy says “How’s that make you feel?” and Opie says: “Makes me kinda sad.”
Quoted from swampfire:If I were JohnnyPinball007 I would take this personally! (by the way my name is John, and I’m neither a toilet or a hooker’s client)
I am named after my Dad, and Grandad, and on legal stuff my name is John, but anyone that knows me calls me Johnny, because my Grandad went by John, and I have always just been Little Johnny (since the first time I ever said a cuss word at probably too young of a age and freaked everyone out at the time).
Quoted from swampfire:I would take this personally!
I can take anything anyone wants to throw at me, as long as they are pretty much playing.
I am super easy going, super easy to get along with, and when I get a chance I will prank you and just anything else for some smiles and laughs.
Only one thing I do take personally is when someone that knows my name is Johnny, and they call me John.
John is my legal name, but not my name, John was my Grandad.
Sorry for the long rant, but only one way to offend me, call me John.
(other than that you can call me any name ever invented),
And I was just on vacation for a few days, and y'all posted some very awesome stuff while I was away!
THANK YOU!
And now back to the funny captions, and I may repeat some, I forgot what I did before I went on vacation and had all that beer away from here:

It's all news media not just the US
Media units of measurement (UK biased)
Length - London taxi cabs, football fields, cargo ships occasionally
Long Distance - Distance to the moon (and back if necessary)
Volume - Olympic sized swimming pools, sometimes taxi cabs again
Height - Double decker buses, Eiffel towers
Weight -Elephants
Temperature is quoted in the correct units but a very cold day is in Celsius e,g, -4 degrees and very hot days in Farenheit "in the 90s".
No-one actually knows where the switch over point is!
