I am hoping I can fix these issues myself... with your help

First... I noticed the ball wouldn't kick out. I looked under the playfield & noticed the kicker solenoid & another solenoid was just hanging there.

I did a T4 test & could hear everything going EXCEPT the outhole, UR & UL jet bumper, lower jet bumper, left sling shot, right sling shot, step gate, ball release & dummy eject hole.

Would I need to find new solenoids or should I just try to repair whats hanging/apart?

Would putting in new solenoids fix the issues in the test run?

Also, what paint paint can I use to touch up or paint the bad areas (mainly the back box)?

Thanks so much for your help! I really appreciate it.

First things first.Fix/reposition/secure your solenoids.I can almost guarantee that Fuse F103(solenoids1-8) and F104 (solenoids 9-16)are blown. Those are 250Volt 3 Amp and radio shack carries them. That's a start.

Yes, this is a great start.

On page 2-13 of the 1990 Funhouse Manual, it shows the Outhole Kicker Assembly. It looks like the coil stop (Part Number A-8038) has come loose. You need it and (2) #6-32 x 3/16 machine screws to reinstall it.

Attached is a picture of the assembly installed. Note the orientation of the coil wires. They must go towards the upper playfield, or they might make contact with the apron and short out.

Ok... thanks for the replies. I will try to figure it out. I did notice on the hanging solenoid in the upper area... the metal bracket is broken.

I talked with Mike (very helpful & nice guy... but Terry needs his pampers changed) from pinballlife.com & he helped out with what I needed. They didn't have the kicker assembly but mentioned that Marco did.... They were great too. Parts are on the way!

Thanks Tom & Slumeister for your help also!!

I suspect you already know this, but just in case you don't....you can download the manual for Funhouse at:

http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?any=funhouse&search=Search+Database&searchtype=quick#966

The part number for the pop bumper bracket & stop is listed on page 2-17 as part number B-7417
