Gents,

Rudy's eyelids will not open. My Coil SM-31-900-DC that closes/opens his eyelids does not have a coil sleeve in it, so the plunger is free floating so to say and hits the bottom centering flange on the eyelids "open" cycle. Does Coil SM-31-900-DC have a sleeve missing? All the other components of Rudy's eyes are clean and complete. You can see and hear the coil release trying to open Rudy's eyelids, but the plunger is getting blocked up on the bottom centering flange. Thanks in advance for and help....you guys have been a goldmine of info and help.

Regards,
Mike

I'll take a look tomorrow and send some pics of the head/parts. The manual lists only the coil and no sleeve.

Ok guys.....here are the pics of Rudy's head. On second look, the eyes open coil plunger is not getting stuck on the centering flange. The coil itself does not appear to have enough power to open the eyes. The lid latch plunger is not getting pulled

Ok ok ok....I found the problem. I installed the part that is under the lid latch plunger upside down, thus the lack of support pulled the plunger extension down not allowing the lid plunger to pull the eyelids down. I compared my photos with johnwarts gallery and found the error.
Once again you guys have saved me from myself. Many thanks to you all......you guys always hit the ball out of the park.

All my best,
Mike
