Glad that's sorted, keep up the great work. I love reading/seeing these restores come to fruition and I'm glad you guys are putting yourself out there by documenting and showing off the work you put into them.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, I think I've seen a suggested solution. Take a hobby knife and cut around the protectors, then remove them and peel off the decal. It lets you keep them attached and eliminates the risk of wrinkling to the rest of your cabinet.
EDIT - never mind I see that those protectors extend beyond the edges of the steel legs. Don't slice up your decal just yet!
