Hi all,

Wanted to share with you all a project I've started.

Having more free time than usual during this whole pandemic, I was looking into some new creative pinball
project to get involved in.

I was looking at pinball world records and saw that some guy in Italy has the world record for largest pinball
ever made, and thought that making a large scale pinball would be a cool idea. But since I suck at designing
pinball games, I thought it would be best to make a pinball game that already exists that I could use as
reference, and that is considered fairly popular, so that other's could help contribute to the project.

So why not make a giant Funhouse?

Here's the first piece I made, seen here (banana for scale).

Gonna be a pricy and challenging project, but I figure I can take the game to some pinball fests in the
future. Contact me if you'd have some ideas on how to solve some of the more challenging parts, or
if you'd like to contribute!

Still trying to figure out what mechanism would be needed to flip bowling balls at a significant speed,
or how the pop bumpers would work...

That would be a pretty awesome project! Why not call the thread “Giant Funhouse”?

How big are you planning?

I'm watching you....

that a really small banana{april fools}

Um, no...that's a real banana.

Ok, yeah, this was an April Fools post

I'm not really making a giant FunHouse pinball machine.

But the giant flasher assembly is indeed real.

Background: I was looking at that plastic a few weeks ago and realized that Rudy really just another attraction at the FunHouse, but he's really the main attraction. And that poor sign is hidden behind his head, so you read the sign after you've already noticed the giant Rudy head on the playfield. You saw the attraction before you saw the sign for the attraction.

So I figured I'd make that sign a bit more of a focal point on the game.

Here it is, mounted on the game:

OMG I love that. (and yea, I wondered because I thought there was no way you would ever complete such a task).

Okay so the inevitable question. How much?

Let’s talk about that amazing crusader helmet topper on MM!

Ok, the question... are you going to start selling these? If so, I'm in!

Ha, I did make that custom just the other day! Supposed to resemble the catapult knight:

I thought it would be cool to have a helmet as a topper, so I went to youtube and searched "crusader foam helmet" and just adjusted to my design accordingly.
