Quoted from ToucanF16:

I'll offer $500 for the FH!

And you live in hong kong

FH for me, and I have both.

If either of them are a diamond plate game, THAT is the one to keep.

#53 6 years ago

Don't think they are diamond played BUT both playfields are in really good condition. These two titels are usually pretty worn down.

Diamond plate logo would be in the outlanes of both games.

What I've tend to notice is that general public, or non pinball people prefer funhouse. The collectors and players tend to prefer whirlwind. I like and have both, its a wash for me. Both all time classic games. Todd

Offcourse not, i was thinking about the shipping costs

Also thank tou for your 500dollar offer on my fully working Funhouse, but it got sold in a heartbeat. Great pin.

I have owned both, each are great games. If I had to choose it would be Whirlwind.

I miss my ww , given a chance I will own one again , miss my es , same , given a chance will own again , I’m picking up a funhouse this weekend , I have to admit to never playing one , so it was never on my radar.
Some day I would love to own all three as I love that era of pins . Es was the first pinball machine to pull me away from vids , I’ve never looked back .

Take the extra money and sell the FH. I also think FH gets more repetitive than WW, so the edge to WW for me.

FH is allready sold. Really fast indeed.
Im havin a blast with my WW. Its staying next to my beloved Star Wars LE, and gets played aaaaalot.
I really love my collection as it is, i like classic pins, have some old ballys that are fully clearcoated and i outstanding condition, have some dmd pins and brand new stern pins, but still ww is in the middle and draws me into one more game.
Ww is a masterpiece

WW was my second pin I purchased back in 2002 still have it still play it.

I find the poll interesting...since it is pretty much a 50/50. They are both great games IMO.

Both great games, both hold great memories for me. For me, though, it's Funhouse. It was a game-changer and got me back into pinball. Pure fun, shots are under-rated, more humor, just love it. I don't know that either one requires greater skill (although I think WW fans believe it to be the case). At times, I think FH's appeal to the general public is a turn-off for some pinball guys--too mainstream and too easy to have fun on, even if you suck. I'd love either in my collection, although FH will be first.

OP I know you sold your FH. FH is the first game I purchased in 93'... Whirlwind shortly after. I still have both. I would let my WW go before my FH. However, it will never happen (in my lifetime).
