    That board is just regulating a borrowed 5v unregulated 5v source on the driver board. This is great in a pinch, but not fixing the underlying problem. The wikis generally spray the 'replace the bridge rectifier mantra' that folks usually jump to. I would first start with the secondary connector power input to the driver board which has been the source of resets on 4 out of 4 of my games then work your way to the cpu input.

    Rule number 1 is always follow the voltage.
