Nice work so far. Keep going, the results of this level of restoration are mind blowing. Couple things that come to mind:

* +1 for sunlight LEDs Nice balance between warm & natural. Looks great in FH

* my Mirco Funhouse playfield was gorgeous and the clear quality was excellent. I had Ron clear my playfield for the ultimate piece (& it’s nice to have the underside of the playfield cleared), but you’ll be happy either way. It’s not that He’s not adding “more clear”, he’s actually meticulously redoing the work with multiple thin layers. He ended up repainting the hot dog on mine because he didn’t like how it looked. The quality of the work was mind blowing. Ron sells a diamond dremel kit that has been a life saver for prepping holes for install.

* speaking of life saver, you may have mentioned this but do you have an ultrasonic cleaner yet?

Quoted from arcadenerd925:

I'll have to check if my wife still has her small one (got it for her jewelry), I do have a tumbler that I originally bought for reloading (that I have never used, haha)
Regarding prep of the PF, is there anything that I will have to do? or did you just need his kit because he redid the clear on yours

Soulrider911 mentioned the contents of the kit. The dremel bits are different sizes/shapes, they are intended to cut away the clear so that you can insert a post or drill safely. If you don't cut away the clear, you risk pulling up the surrounding clear if you need to drill a hole large, which you will often need to do if you are working with a repro playfield. The syringe and glue is used to "seal" the wood after you clear so you can remove posts easily if needed in the future without damaging the playfield or clearcoat. You add a tiny dab and it gets quickly soaked up. You have to put on your OCD hat for this as it can be frustrating & tedious at first, but once I got the technique (mostly) down, I wouldn't do a swap without the kit.
