After several months of trials, tribulations, truck problems, and mind changing, I finally grew a pair of (pin)balls and brought home a rare but heavy project. This is a DiamondPlate sample Funhouse machine, one of about 200 made I believe. This isnt the prototype, but it is indeed a super hard to find Funhouse. The big differences are the hybrid System 11 sound board, wide System 11-style siderails, protruding start button, and of course the DiamondPlated playfield. I was hesitant to pull the trigger on this machine but it honestly exceeded my expectations. the cabinet is in remarkable shape with NO fading at all! All the boards and displays appear to work great. The only downside is that everything on the playfield came not in the machine, but in a box instead. Its gonna need a LOT of work and some heavy elbow grease but I cannot wait to get it running.

Unfortunately it does have a big ugly lockbar, but not much I can do about that

Glad you finally found one! Would love to see your progress on the restore. Playfield looks pretty decent. Only wear seems to be at the kickout which is very common.

Probably my favorite over all pin. I am installing a new playfield in mine. I used to have a Diamond Plated one...didn't realize it was rare or I would not have sold it. Have fun with it..its a great game!
